Telesales Executive Vacancy

Due to expansion and an ever increasing service offering Topscan are now looking to bring in a Telesales Executive to help support our Sales & Marketing efforts as well as our long term growth plan.

Job brief
We are looking for an enthusiastic Telesales Representative to contribute in generating sales for our company. The role will be based in our Bournemouth Office, and you will be responsible for locating and contacting new clients and pitching services relative to their role as well as maintaining good customer relationships.
An effective telesales representative must be an excellent communicator and have superior people skills. You must be comfortable presenting products or services over the phone as well as researching via web in order to locate the contact details.
The goal is to help the company grow by bringing in customers and developing business.

Responsibilities

  • Contact potential or existing customers to inform them about a product or service. Initially we will provide scripts but would expect the right person to develop their own pitch as they grow in to the role.
  • Answer questions about products or the company, with support of Regional BDM’s and Director of Sales
  • Ask questions to understand customer requirements
  • Direct prospects to the relevant team member when needed
  • Enter and update customer information in the database
  • Go the “extra mile” to meet sales quota and facilitate future sales
  • Keep records of calls and sales and note useful information

Requirements

  • Proven experience as telesales representative or other sales/customer service role
  • Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quota preferably over the phone
  • Good knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g. CRM software) and telephone systems
  • Ability to learn about products and services and describe/explain them to prospects
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Cool-tempered and able to handle rejection
  • Outstanding negotiation skills with the ability to resolve issues and address complaints
