Asset surveys

An accurate set of data provided by a Topscan asset survey allows you to ensure proper maintenance of your assets, plan for the future and ensure that you can react to Help Desk calls and emergencies with speed and efficiency.

Topscan have been completing asset surveys and creating registers for our customers for over 25 years.  Knowing your assets, their age, condition, SFG 20 reference, age, manufacture, serial number, etc. will allow you to make fact-based decisions with fewer risks when planning future projects, and have an effective PPM in place safeguarding against over-maintenance, protecting warranties, and avoiding unnecessary downtime.

A detailed Asset Register will also allow you to plan for the future by allocating the appropriate budgets when assets come to the end of their life or simply plan for their replacement.

Getting the scope correct is key to the success of the project.  We will consider the purpose of the survey, confirm the assets in scope, the information to be collected for each asset and how the completed register is to be provided. Our surveyors will then work with your property managers to access the areas to be surveyed.

With our experience, we can also suggest other data to collect at no extra cost. The assets can be added to your drawings and hyperlinked to documents like O&M manuals, or uploaded to your CAFM system.
