Measured building survey
Whether you have no drawings or are looking to bring your existing drawings up to a high degree of accuracy, our measured building survey services are what you need.
Topscan have been completing measured building surveys for our customers for over 25 years. We are unique in offering a UK wide service using solely our own experienced surveyors and equipment so that our customers can be sure of consistency and quality of deliverables with any of our surveys.
Our specialist measured building survey team will visit your site to conduct a space by space survey of the buildings in scope using the latest laser measuring devices, whether that be handheld disto, total station or even high speed 3D point cloud scanners.
By providing accurate information on your site and the buildings in it, we can give you the opportunity to be very precise with your plans and to consider all the possible variables when completing any projects. As part of our measured building surveys we can also provide a Verticality Survey to ensure that your building or structure is vertical or discover any leans and whether therefore it is inline with architect, designer or engineer plans.
An accurate set of CAD plans from a measured building survey will give you an excellent return on your investment, help with risk reduction, help identify efficiencies in the day to day running and maintenance of the buildings as well as set the foundation that can be built upon for adding MEP services.
Their methodical approach, attention to detail and ability to work with Trust staff to ensure all areas were accessed made the project an easy one to manage. We are more than happy with the results and foresee a long future with Topscan as we will be using them for the ongoing auditing, CAD and Micad management.
